The Community Service Project of Thai-Chinese International School (TCIS) for the 9th grade students is held once again during March 18-20, 2011 in Pattaya. Mr. Aquino Valente and the teachers' team bring about 80 students to organize activities for children at the Pattaya Orphanage. Divided into smaller groups, our visitors get to know us through video presentation, followed by visit to the nursery and interactions with older kids. Everyone including TCIS staff enjoys sharing football match and outdoor activities in our football field. It is really amazing and unforgettable experience. For lunch on Saturday, our benefactors host a sumptuous lunch with spaghetti with pork ketchup sauce. Moreover, a treat at McDonalds is given to preschool and primary school kids on Sunday. This is a good opportunity of all TCIS students to share your experience with deprived children in the society. Sincere gratefulness to all concerned, especially Khun Aquino for his coordination. May the good Lord bless and keep you all. Safe trip back and see you again next year.

โครงการบำเพ็ญประโยชน์เพื่อสังคมของโรงเรียนนานาชาติไทย-จีน สมุทรปราการ จัดขึ้นในพัทยา ระหว่างวันที่ 18-20 มีนาคม 2554 โดยคุณวาเล็นเต้ อาคิโน่ ได้นำคณะครูและนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 มาเยือนเด็กกำพร้าที่มูลนิธิสงเคราะห์เด็ก พัทยา ทำความรู้จักงานของทางมูลนิธิฯ ผ่านทางวิดีทัศน์ เยี่ยมเด็กอ่อนและเด็กวัยหัดเดิน พร้อมทั้งจัดกิจกรรมสนุก ๆ ให้กับเด็กรุ่นโตที่สนามของมูลนิธิฯ มีการเตะฟุตบอล เล่นเกมส์ พร้อมกับแจกของรางวัลให้กับเด็กๆ ซึ่งทุกท่านได้รับความสนุกสนาน และประทับใจเป็นอย่างมาก นอกจากนี้ ในวันเสาร์ทางกลุ่ม TCIS ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารกลางวัน เมนูสปาเก็ตตี้หมูในซอสมะเชือเทศ ซึ่งนำความยินดีมาสู่เด็กกำพร้าของทางมูลนิธิ ฯ เป็นอย่างยิ่ง และในเช้าของอาทิตย์ที่ 20 มีนาคม พี่ ๆ อีกกลุ่มหนึ่งจาก TCIS ยังได้นำเด็กรุ่นอนุบาลและประถมฯ ไปอิ่มอร่อยกับอาหารที่แม็คโดนัลด์ เมืองจำลอง อีกด้วย ทางมูลนิธิฯ มีความยินดีให้การได้มีส่วนร่วมในโครงการดีๆ ของทาง TCIS ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์และประสบการณ์ที่ดีของเด็กทั้งสองฝ่าย ขอชอบคุณในความปรารถนาดีของคณะนักเรียนและครูทุกท่านที่มีต่อเด็กด้อยโอกาสของเรา และหวังอย่างยิ่งว่านักเรียน TCIS จะได้นำประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้การแบ่งปันจากโครงการนี้ไปใช้ประโยชน์ต่อไป ขอบคุณครับ/ค่ะ เจอพี่ๆ ใหม่ในปีหน้านะคะ/ครับ
